Nometri Showroom

Dynamic calm, visibility of textures

The showroom of the interior design studio Nometri, surprises us with an interior design based on marvellous contradictions.

The result is an eclectic and multifunctional space where colours and textures merge. Ana M. Fernández tells us the secrets of this showroom, in which we find Momocca in its Retail Furniture facet, by means of a Julia bookcase, an Adara sideboard and Dania chairs.

Momocca: What was the inspiration for this showroom?

Ana M. Fernández: The inspiration came from the need to create a private and at the same time public space.

This mix is due to the fact that our studio has a very close reception for clients and collaborators. So, we wanted a colourful, welcoming and multifunctional place, where we could hold both face-to-face and virtual meetings, showcooking activities, or even conferences and cocktail parties.

M: What does the showroom transmit, what will the client find there?

AF: The showroom conveys dynamic calm, and a visibility of versatile textures, materials and shapes.

The colour is achieved with the bold art pieces in balance with the light oak wood tones and the black block of the kitchen island.

So the customer will find ways to apply flooring, porcelain tiles, mechanisms, home automation and lighting, textiles, domestic retail furniture, art and decorative objects.

Not forgetting that they will also be able to observe new trends and products on the market.

M: How does Momocca fit in with all this inspiration?

AF: Betting on Momocca is always a guarantee.

Firstly, because the capacity for customisation is fundamental, together with the timeless contemporary design they offer.

Dania offered us a set of different combinations that allows us to have a table with a variety of chairs. The swivel legs give us that duality of work and dining chairs that play with what our space needs.

On the other hand, the Julia shelving unit creates a “lattice” effect to separate spaces with this passage of light and intimacy with which to interact.

And, finally, nothing like the Adara console unit with which we have a light storage space and the effect of a foyer according to the place.

Momocca would like to thank Ana M. Fernández de Nometri for her trust in Momocca and her time for this interview.  Photography: Lupe Clemente.
