Casa Decor Diary:

The resilient event

Two weeks to go until the new edition of Casa Decor opens its doors for another edition.

If you have read our previous posts, you’ll know exactly what it’s all about. An exhibition of interior design, decoration, and trends in which interior design professionals go into an iconic building in Madrid and bring it to life.

Different spaces and essences, wall to wall, going into different places, atmospheres, and even different times.

Last year was the first time we visited it as a participating company. Years ago, we attended as visitors and imagined what it would be like to be one of the participants. Until finally last year we had the great opportunity thanks to The Room Studio and Gira.

We do not want to say that it was the Covid edition, it wasn’t like that. We want to think that our time at Casa Decor was our time at the edition of resilience. Because it was, with barely a few days of opening, the exhibition took the painful decision to close its doors and almost a hundred spaces were left without being able to be admired.

We experienced this closure firsthand. We saw the sadness of the staff closing something that had taken them a whole year to organise. However, this blow only served to rethink the strategy; continuous information, virtual tours, videos… the building was closing, but the exhibition was still alive.

Finally, almost 3 months after its first opening, Casa Decor returned, with more enthusiasm and winning the battle.

A true example of resilience, of wanting to improve and surpass oneself that has inspired us a year later to participate again with much more enthusiasm. The closure of other major events means that we are more than prepared and above all motivated for Casa Decor 2021.

So much so that we are coming back with more presence, new spaces, different atmospheres and interiors and the presence of all our collections: Adara, Julia, Emma and for the first time in an exhibition; Olga!

Stay tuned to our communication channels and feel, live, Dand get excited with our Casa Decor diary.
